    only brushes the surface

I was expecting a little more from this book. This book only touches on very basic Buddhist principles. While I did like the way these principals were broken down with real life examples I found myself frustrated with the line of questioning hoping that the author would choose deeper philosophical questions when faced with someone as insightful as the Dalai Lama. I would recommend reading one of the Dalai Lamas many books rather than this one.
