Narrator did a great job as always
Characters are great. Callie and Shane are so cute together, love them.
But, unlike book 1 and 2 nothing significant plotwise happened. I found myself skipping through chapters and not really missing anything. The scavenger hunt didn’t really contribute to the plot in any meaningful way other than the main characters getting stronger.
I look forward to book 4.

Usually series get to volume 6 or 7 before they hit “filler” entries. This one already feels there at book 3, unfortunately. I really liked the first two books, that’s why it hitting something like this at book 3 is pretty disappointing. On top of that, the heavy handed romance story here was annoying, instead of the intended endearing. The two love birds in question seemed to act like 30-somethings, not teenagers. It just felt weird.
I had already purchased the next couple in the series, so hopefully the story and arcs pick back up. I want something more substantial than a book about their high school scavenger hunt for flowers…
