Not Freida’s best work…but I’m not giving up on her
Once I read The Housemaid, I was hooked on Freida McFadden’s style. Next up was Never Lie, which was just as good! Easy to read, brilliant plot twists, what’s not to love? Couldn’t stop there, so I went for more Freida with The Inmate. Quite the let down. The main character grated on my nerves from the get-go. Silly reactions to dangerous situations (not too frazzled while a mass killer is in the room?) and just plain dumb. I’m going to take a break from this author, but I’m definitely not giving up on her. She’s just too good, even if The Inmate was not up to par.

Wow!! Had me from the beginning !!
I love this book! Twists and turns but so easy to follow along and jaw dropping at the end! I am already hoping for a spin off of this one involving the person in the end! I don’t want to spoil it so lets just say that would perfect!! The narrator is excellent and I could listen to her voice and how she carries books with ease. LOVE THIS ONE
